Prediction of Potential Geothermal Disaster Areas along the Yunnan–Tibet Railway Project

As China’s railways continue to expand into the Qinghai–Tibet Plateau, number of deep-buried long tunnels is increasing. Tunnel-damaging geothermal disasters have become a common problem in underground engineering. Predicting potential disaster areas along Yunnan–Tibet railway project conducive its planning and construction realization United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)—specifically, industry, innovation infrastructure goal (SDG 9). In this paper, was study area. Landsat-8 images other spatial data were used investigate causes distributions disasters. A collinearity diagnosis environmental variables carried out. Twelve variables, such as land surface temperature, selected predict using four niche models (MaxEnt, Bioclim, Domain GARP). The prediction results divided levels had different characteristics. Among them, area under receiver operating characteristic curve (AUC) kappa values MaxEnt model highest, at 0.84 0.63, respectively. Its accuracy highest algorithm are more suitable for show that greatest Markam-Deqen, Zuogong-Zayu Baxoi-Zayu regions. Through jack-knife analysis, it found active faults, water system distribution Moho depth key predictors areas. research provide reference design associated sustainable development.
